The Top Ten
So I was reading a friend's blog and on it he had his top ten songs. And I got to thinking...why not have a top ten...but go further then music. I mean, I listen to a lot of tunes, but there is so much more to put in a top ten. So here goes.
Honorable Mention--- Back to Future 2. You get the future, the alternate reality, and the past all in two hours. And Marty gets to watch himself shred on the guitar. Sweet. Fuckin' sweet!

10. Rick Nelson. Fuck Elvis! He da man! And he didn't die on a toilet. He went out the way rock stars are supposed to go!

9. Bill Simmons and Chuck Klosterman. Two men that inspire me to write. Sports, music and movies all smashed together. Maybe my life hasn't been a waste.

8. MP 103.3. While I am not a fan of automation and lack of humans, I do like the fact that I can hear just about everything. Aside from when Boston or Rush comes on, the station pretty much plays like something I would program. More music and more variety. No crap morning show where people try to be shocking and funny and just end up sucking! No constant playing of the same bad song...something tells me that payola doesn't really fly here. You might hear a J Lo song...but you won't hear it 25 times in 3 hours. That is good. Now if only we could get videos on MTV. http://www.mp103.com/

7. Itunes video buys...it gets me caught up on lost...and gives me a copy of my new favorite episode where Sawyer shows just what kind of smart asshole he is! And it offers Knight Rider and A-Team seasons. I want an IPOD and I want to take a trip that requires at least 5 hours of flying...just so I can watch tv shows...I know, I am pathetic.

6. The treadmill---an evil machine becomes my new friend every morning.

5. Enemy of the State....why are so many people upset about wire taps? Ummm hello...Bruckheimer and Will Smith tried to prepare you for reality.

4. The Canon Digital Video Camera
I have a new toy that inspires me to get up and go to work everyday. It makes things look so beautiful. No more shitty video! No more shitty video! Like Nelson Mandela, I have been freed by my oppressor. Alright...bad analogy.

3. Huey Lewis- Do you believe in love A lost 80s classic.

2. The Constant Gardener---
Great thriller. Also, an eye opener. I don't know how much if any of the "inhumane" actions are true...but seeing Africa up close is just...well if you have a heart it will effect you.
And give Rachel Weisz the OSCAR. This is not a chick flick regardless of what the poster might make you believe.
1. The most cruel and funny thing ever. And when you are done watching it, click on other clips. Some things are down right wrong and disturbing while others are just really fucking funny. Remember, humor is born in pain.

that video fucking rocks that kids ass.
That Dad kicks ass.
The only Dad + Video Game 'story' that I have is when my dad came home one time and flipped out because i had bad grades or broke a window and then he hulked-out and went apeshit while me and my buddy Erin were playing Q-bert.
I was about a half hour away from flipping Qbert, and Dad comes in yelling, and when i didnt look up to acknowledge him, he blamed Qbert for my bad grades which was probaby true anyway but as he continued yelling at me and i kept ignoring him, he got madder and madder until I was so close to flipping it and he finally yanked the cord out of the wall and walked away.
It blew my fucking mind because I had been in a Qtrance all fucking day.
